Regenerative Oxidiser

The Regenerative Thermal Oxidiser (RTO) today is the preferred type of thermal oxidiser due to the ability to operate at high thermal efficiencies. Even at low concentrations of VOC the RTO provides cost-effective operation due to very high thermal efficiency up to 97%. When a waste stream contains VOC above a certain concentration, then auto-thermal operation (without the use of support fuel) is possible. This type of oxidiser uses the regenerative heat recovery technology to give very high thermal efficiency.
